We booked a level 3 survey. Survey was well conducted and very helpful and detailed.

Our only feedback would be that we were told repeatedly they would be able to give us guidance on costs for certain works to the house, which in fairness they did do over the phone. However, after telling us they would send this to us in writing (so we could provide evidence to the estate agent for renegotiation) they then ignored our emails and eventually refused to give us cost estimates in writing, which I understand is a liability thing but they should have just told us this from the beginning.

We used Crown as both our estate agent and surveyor on our recent sale and purchase. On top of offering very reasonable commission fees, we found Yassar to be knowledgeable about the market and area. The marketing of our flat online was superb, excellent photos which helped make ours stand out.

We also instructed a level 3 survey on our purchase which was extremely detailed. It helped to identify some areas of concern which we ended up investigating further.

We have found the whole experience with Crown to be excellent and would certainly recommend their services.

The survey was thorough, clear and extensive and delivered within the quoted time. I've had surveys from Crown Survey & Valuation on two separate occasions, quite simply because they are just excellent. Yassar went out of his way to conduct a very thorough Level 2 Survey which addressed all of my concerns. The report was clear and detailed, and he offered me a follow-up call to discuss, answer my questions, and offer his perspective.

Good survey of a house I was looking to purchase and was able to speak to them on the phone afterwards to discuss the deatils and get recommendations for more specialist surveys.

Shazia was so communicative and clear in setting up our survey and explaining what to expect, and Yassar was very detailed in his report and patient explaining the results to us afterward.

The whole process was very smooth and the report was super complete and accurate. They were also happy to jump on call later to discuss a few points, which made a huge difference for us. Totally recommend the service!

We had a valuation and surveyor report done by the Crown Survey. Yassar and Shazia make an amazing team. We had a tight turnaround to complete the purchase and they made sure we got the report in time! The service you are getting from them is truly incredible. They have gone above and beyond and we had such an positive experience with them, we have gone back to them twice now. The attention to detail Yassar gives you is something I have not seen with other surveyor companies. We had a 30min follow up call with him to go through the report which is included in the service, and he was pretty thorough and gave us a chance to ask any questions we had. You can tell Yassar has years of experience and is very knowledgeable in this field.

If we need another survey done in the future, we will for sure be coming back!

We engaged Crown on a friend’s recommendation to carry out a buyer’s survey and valuation. They were highly responsive, friendly and professional in all our interactions and Yasser did a very thorough job for us despite the tight timeframe. Choosing to use Crown Surveyors as my surveyor has been the best decision I've made as a first-time buyer. The report that Yassar prepared was exceptionally thorough, detailed and informative, covering a comprehensive range of issues both clearly and in detail. He also proactively arranged a call to discuss the report afterwards, clarifying and expanding on issues identified in the report as well as answering any questions I had. As well as gaining an incredibly clear understanding of the condition of the property and knowing exactly what steps to prioritise before completion, I also have a great resource I'll be able to refer back to in the coming years to guide me on what to look out for and where to make further improvements to the property. I cannot recommend Yassar and the friendly team at Crown Surveyors enough!

A fantastic and faultless service. All correspondence was fast and the process efficient. We had a full structural survey and in particular, the post survey call they offer is really useful. The surveyor took his time to go through the report and let us ask lots of questions. I used to think surveyors weren't that helpful but a necessary part of the process. Crown changed that and demonstrated real value added.

We've now had two surveys done by Yassar and our experience has been nothing short of brilliant both times. Yassar and Shazia excel in providing an efficient, easy process. They are always keeping you updated and are happy to answer any questions, even if the questions are unrelated to the survey. They are both clearly very competent and have a nack for explaining things in layman's terms so you don't feel lost. Most importantly, both times we've known exactly what our next steps should be as soon as we've had the survey explained to us over a call from Yassar.

I engaged Crown Survey & Valuation to conduct a RICS Level 2 survey of a purpose built flat. I would recommend their services and use them again if necessary. Pricing Crown were in the mid range of the quotes I obtained. This is a good thing. The surveyor’s time is likely the most significant input to the survey. Firms competing hard on price have to find the extra margin somewhere and it’s probably by reducing the time allocated to the survey and post-survey report drafting Initial contact, quote, survey process Office manager Shazia took my details and those of the property. She immediately found the property listing and knew the location. Shazia explained the process, the services Crown offered and their pricing. Clear and to the point. I was asked if I had any concerns about the property and anything that should be checked during the survey. Crown arranged a date for the survey directly with the estate agent and provided regular updates via email. This included confirmation that the survey had gone ahead as planned and an indication of when I should expect the report. Report The report was clear and straightforward. Given the property was a purpose built flat there were a number of sections that did not apply. There was only limited inspection of the exterior of the property and shared areas, as expected. The best part, and one of the main reasons for my recommendation, was the post-report phone call with Yassar who conducted the survey. This was conducted at a time convenient to me with the minimum of fuss. We covered all the questions arising from the report and a few additional generated as a result of the discussion. The RICS report is a fairly set format so it was invaluable to hear directly from Yassar, reinforcing the findings he’d put in writing

Before even committing any money, she was already giving me helpful advice about the level of survey to go for, what the outputs would look like and more.
